Engineered for one person to handle
Every detail considered. Every journey effortless.
Standard-Fit Motor Mover
Arriving at your pitch should be a pleasure, not a workout. The built-in Motor Mover lets you guide the ECTS precisely into any spot - using a simple handheld remote - with complete control and zero physical strain. Hitching and unhitching is safe and straightforward even on your own, even on a hill.
Gas-Free Kitchen
No gas bottles. No pilot lights. No lingering smells. The beautifully appointed kitchen features a built-in induction hob and microwave - safe, clean and utterly simple to use, whether you're on a French Aire or a lakeside pitch in the Lake District. With 2+ days off-grid potential.
Elevating Roof - Up in Under a Minute
Gas struts do the heavy lifting, raising the elevating roof with one smooth turn of a handle. Two support poles lock it securely in place. From pulling onto your pitch to putting the kettle on takes less than five minutes - on any surface, without pegs, without fuss.
Super-Wide Single Bed in Five Seconds
Your comfortable sofa reclines into a super-wide sleeping berth in moments. Your bedding travels on the already-made bed while you drive, neatly stowed beneath the front shelf once you arrive - ready the moment the evening calls for it.
Tows Behind Almost Any Modern Car
Weighing from just 400kg, the ECTS sits comfortably within the un-braked towing limit of most modern cars - petrol, diesel, hybrid, or electric. No need to change your vehicle. No specialist licence. See a sample list of suitable cars.
Porta Potti - Always Accessible
Convenience matters, particularly when the campsite facilities are on the other side of the field at midnight. The Porta Potti is thoughtfully positioned to be accessible at all times - a small detail that makes a meaningful difference.

Self-Sufficient by Design
Power. Storage. Freedom.
The Dashaway ECTS is as self-sufficient as it is elegant.
Full 230V Off-Grid Power
A substantial 200W solar panel and large lithium battery bank feed a 3,000W inverter - delivering full mains power to any domestic appliance you care to bring. Microwave and induction hob are built-in, but why not bring your Air Fryer too? If it runs on a standard 3-pin plug and draws under 3,000W, it's at home here. Sufficient for 2+ nights off-grid, with campsite hook-up available for longer stays.
Fresh Water on Tap
Fresh water is delivered via electrically pumped supply to the bespoke sink and drainer from an external 10-litre bottle - light and easy to carry. Prefer an Aqua Roll for extended adventures? That works too.
Generous Storage Throughout
Storage has been considered at every turn. A large mid-ships under-floor locker - accessed from inside - houses the batteries, inverter and a 12-litre compressor fridge, leaving genuinely generous space for clothes, food and everything in between. The optional belly locker adds an impressive 170 litres of external storage via two pull-out drawers.
The Awning Options
Two awning options allow you to extend your world at a moment's notice. The bespoke Dashaway ECT Rear Awning deploys on the Wheelhome Hoop System to create an intimate 1.4m x 1.4m outdoor space - perfect for sitting out or housing the Porta Potti overnight. The awning travels on the front of the ECTS and draws back and up using the lightweight hoop system - so you don't need to lift it from the car. For those who like to spread out, the Vango Arden Tailgate Awning offers a larger, sleepable space, also supported by the Wheelhome Hoop System, with the awning travelling in the car.
Because the finest journeys deserve the finest details.

Real world towing
Tows beautifully behind electric and hybrid cars
We tow our Dashaway ECTS with a Tesla Model 3 Long Range - and it's an effortless combination. In cool November temperatures we achieved 245 miles of range, rising to around 260 miles in summer.
These photos were taken in November 2025 in Provence, France. We're pleased to report there were no toll charges on the French Autoroutes or the Millau Viaduct.
